No Rest for Bridget top; Shorts via T.J. Maxx; Zara heels; Clutch via Harper's; Ray-Ban aviators; Michael Kors watch; Gorjana necklaces, rings, and bracelets (here and here) (c/o) For the third and final look with this versatile peplum top, I wanted an easy night out feel, and scalloped shorts and pointed heels are perfectly carefree and slightly dressed up. A bold clutch and stacked gold jewelry add the finishing touches. And about the jewelry, it's no secret that Gorjana makes some of my favorite, go-to pieces. Every necklace, bracelet, and ring is so easily mixed and matched, dressed up or dressed down. After seeing all three looks (see one, two, and above, three), which is your favorite? xoxo Shop the Look: Accessories

Top via No Rest for Bridget; ASTR skirt (c/o) Nordstrom; LOFT heels (c/o); Forever 21 clutch and belt; Henri Bendel bracelet In today's second peplum-ed look (check out yesterday's version here), I layered the flared top over a swingy leather skirt (last seen here) for a fun and flirty feminine feel. A contrast skinny belt gives an extra pop of color, and an ankle-strapped take of fall's mid-heel adds a little polish. Top the whole thing off with a sleek clutch, black shades, and a hot pink lip. Stay tuned for the third and final look tomorrow! (Which just so happens to be Friday. Hang in there, kids, it's almost here.) xoxo Shop the Look: Top via No Rest For Bridget; LOFT jeans (c/o); BCBG scarf (c/o); Zara heels; Vita Fede bangles (old); Michael Kors watch; Ray-Ban sunglasses; Louis Vuitton Verona bag This easy peplum top is one of those key summer basics that goes with so many pieces in my closet, so I figured I'd style it three ways over the next three days. For today's look, I paired the top with my go-to skinnies (seriously living in these LOFT jeans lately), a printed scarf, and sleek heels for a dressed-up day to night feel. It's pulled-together without trying too hard, and for a day of errands, comfortable flats are a great alternative. Oh, and you may notice a new accessory. Eric surprised me with a new handbag, completely out of the blue. It is now my first child, and I sleep with it under my pillow every night. Just kidding. But it's a thought. Stay tuned this week for two more ways to style that peplum top in your closet. If you don't have one already, below are a few options, and bonus, most of them are on sale. xoxo Shop the Look: Peplum Tops Usually when I think about a black and white outfit, I think of a dressed-up, crisp look, but I'm loving this bohemian version above. With summer quickly coming to an end, I'm trying to squeeze in a few more days of denim cutoffs, but an oversized wool hat and easy booties make these pre-fall appropriate. An airy blouse adds a feminine touch, and this chain-embellished snakeskin bag makes a serious statement. Finish with easy silver accessories and mirrored sunnies. Hope everyone is having a great week! xoxo Get the Look! 1. H&M Chiffon Blouse $40

Baublebar Silver Disc Bangle $26 Last week I swung by a LOFT store in Century City to try on their newly perfected pants for fall. After answering a couple of fit questions, I was directed towards the Marisa fit and was pleasantly surprised at how nicely they worked for me. (I guess when you poll over 10,000 women across America about their fit concerns and actually listen, you're bound to get something right. And that's exactly what the LOFT did.) I was first drawn to the trouser leg version (and also LOVED these printed bottoms), but once I laid eyes on the pair above in "Sassy Blue", I was sold. The fabric is super soft and is the perfect weight for fall, and I love how these hit right at my ankle. Paired with a basic blouse and ankle-strapped mid-heels (also scooped up from the LOFT and currently 50% off with code "SHOP50"), these bold pants are perfect for sprucing up your nine to five uniform. Have you guys tried pants from the LOFT lately?
xoxo Oldie but goodie: Julie Vos jewels. If you haven't checked out the line, today is the day. They are having a major sample sale with so many delicious pieces marked WAY down. (Currently loving these Stingray Bangles) No time like the present to head over and get your shop on. Happy Friday, everyone! Above are a few of my favorite things this week, including a couple of September issues that I've yet to sink my teeth into. I'm thinking this weekend at the beach will be the perfect time to jump in. Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
xoxo True Religion boyfriend jeans (c/o); H&M tank; Zara vest; DV Dolce Vita heels (similar here); Forever 21 clutch; OK1984 necklace and cuff (c/o); MissGuided spike bracelet (c/o) If there's one thing I've gotten a little reliant on these days, it's the throw-on-and-go ease of boyfriend jeans, and this pair from True Religion is perfect for dressing up or down. For a slightly more pulled-together feel, all it takes is a bit of smart layering and eye-catching heels. (This Zara vest has proven to be one of those purchases that goes with half of my closet, and the lace-up heels have been a favorite pair for years.) Tribal-inspired antique gold jewelry and a simple black clutch finish the look. Hope everyone is having a great week!
xoxo Forever 21 blouse; H&M leggings; DMSX booties (c/o); Target clutch; Boera ring; Vita Fede wrap bracelet; Caravelle by Bulova watch These booties were sent to me at the end of last summer, and I was immediately in love. They're Superwoman tall, and the buckle detailing is just enough embellishment. I couldn't wait for the weather to cool down so that I could wear them. The problem is, these arrived on moving day, and after the dust settled on our house, I was left with one boot. I had never even gotten to wear them, and the one boot in my closet just mocked me. From time to time I would put the right shoe on and hobble around the house in a last-ditch effort to find its match. Recently, just because I wasn't looking for it, I came across the missing boot, and this year, I'm not waiting to wear them. Paired with printed leggings and an easy blouse, my "new boots" are perfect for welcoming fall. I'm so excited to pair them with sweater dresses, skinny jeans, cute jackets...oh, the possibilities. xoxo I'm a sucker for silky, slouchy pants, and lucky for me, they're spot on this fall. Patience has never really been my thing (which can make purchasing fall pieces early a little torturous), but don't fret, my pet! These paisley-printed bottoms work perfectly with a sleeveless blouse and heeled sandals for now. Finish the look with a contrast clutch and statement gold jewels. Once fall finally rolls around, add a tailored blazer or fitted sweater and a pair of killer pumps. Which fall pieces do you have your eye on? xoxo Get the Look! 1. Mango Printed Flowy Trousers $60

Zara Nubuck Clutch Bag $100 8. Baublebar Labradorite Teardrop Bangle $88 LOFT skirt, blazer, tee (all c/o); Gap clutch; Nine West heels; Julie Vos bracelet; Gorjana ring; OK1984 necklace In today's final look with this fall-perfect LOFT blazer, I went with a dressed up, office-appropriate look. I love the geometric pattern and slight metallic sheen of the skirt, and paired with a sleek tee and camel jacket, it's an easy way to kick up your work wardrobe for fall. By the way, if new work threads are on your shopping list, the LOFT has you covered from head to toe. And speaking of toes (the sweet segues just keep coming), I've had my eye on these ankle-strapped kicks and finally decided to scoop them up during this weekend's LOFT friends and family sale. Now that I've posted all three looks in this "1 LOFT Blazer, 3 Ways" series (Look #1, Look #2), how would you wear this staple fall blazer? xoxo Disclosure: All LOFT clothing in this post was gifted, but all opinions are my own and 100% honest.
