Recently Starbucks challenged a bunch of bloggers to reveal their "wardrobe refresh" and share how we're getting ready for summer. It couldn't have come at a better time for me, and I knew it was my cue for a complete summer clean-out. I started with the dreaded handbag reorganization and soon found myself building a shelving unit and pretty much going on a room-to-room rampage. I LOVE how it all turned out, and the new color-coordinated shelves make it so easy for me to find the handbag or jewelry that I'm looking for. I sorted through clothes, shoes, and jewelry and decided what I no longer needed. (Some items are now listed for sale on my Pose account, and I'll be getting more up soon.) Onto the bedroom. I cleaned off and reorganized the dresser, and things just feel so much simpler now. Finally, I hit the office and began a bit of a "cork board clearing" followed by throwing away just about everything in sight. Ahh, feels good. If you're looking to jumpstart your own summer clean-out, check out my tips below on small organizational changes. You'll be happy you did because there's nothing like hitting the "refresh" button.
