Photos thanks to Taylor Cole Photography Ella Moss coverup (c/o) Swim Spot; Becca bikini; Forever 21 hat; Ray-Ban sunglasses; Samantha Wills ring I apologize in advance to any readers on the East Coast still covered in snow, but last week we had a little beach weather and I had to take advantage. For a day at the beach, I love pretty little swimsuit coverups that can go from the beach to pretty much anywhere, and the Ella Moss line at Swimspot is definitely one of my favorites. I still get tons of compliments on this chevron print from last year, and I was drawn to the delicate embroidery on this one above. It's definitely a keeper. Hope everyone's week is off to a great start! xoxo P.S. - Don't forget to enter the Cocorose London Giveaway!

Every now and then a clothing line will really catch my eye, and right now, [BLANK NYC] has my attention. I've known about the brand for a while now, but have only recently begun exploring every fit and wash that I find. (Back in my denim PR days, I made it my business to know every competitor brand, but it certainly wasn't a normal practice to wear them.) In the pairs that I own, I've found that the fit and quality are definitely worth the more-than-reasonable price point. (Most styles retail under $100.) I started off with this vegan leather pair of skinnies that I wore. to. death. Then during fashion week I stopped into the Piperlime store and picked up these dark, clean skinnies. I'm in love with the color, and they've definitely become my go-to pair of skinnies. Earlier this week I scooped up these pull-on flares from Nordstrom, and I'm in love. They're so comfortable and flattering and just so happened to be the perfect length for me (the benefits of being tall). Now, I've started checking out their spring collection, and it's dangerous. I'm loving anything ripped and distressed and all of the vegan leather. If you haven't already, I'd definitely suggest taking a peek at the looks above. What are some of your go-to denim brands? xoxo Photos thanks to Taylor Cole Photography Hue leggings (c/o); Forever 21 tank; Trouve blazer; Zara heels; Tory Burch bag; Gorjana necklace (c/o); Michael Kors watch; Gorjana bracelets and rings (c/o) Ahh, leggings: the definitive word in comfort clothing. They were my college staple and are still a cold weather weekend go-to, although I try to limit their exposure to the outside world these days. That is, until I found these. They're a thick, almost jegging-like material (because no one wants to look at you in see-through pants), and the gold pattern dresses them up just a smidge. Worn with heels and a new favorite blazer (love the notched details), these leggings are definitely outside world approved. Hope everyone is having a great week! xoxo P.S. - Don't forget to enter the Cocorose London Giveaway! Break up the mixed blues with a stark white blazer and a contrasting handbag, and finish it all off with a pair of comfy leopard flats. These calfhair flats fold into their own little bag and are perfect for traveling or just those days when you could use a break from heels. I stashed these in my bag during Fashion Week, and they definitely came in handy more than a few times. This week I'm excited to team up with Cocorose London to give one lucky reader a pair of their own. Available in a ton of varieties and colors, there's definitely a shoe for every style. Enter below using the Giveaway Tools app, and cross your fingers (and toes!) - your feet will thank you! Good luck! xoxo **Update: Congratulations to the winner of the Cocorose London Giveaway: Zoe Moneteleone! Thanks so much to everyone who entered, and stay tuned for more great giveaways!
Sanctuary pants, tee (similar), and jacket (coming soon; also love this version); Jessica Simpson heels; Michael Kors watch and bracelet For spring and summer, there's pretty much nothing I love more than an all white look, and with these luxe basics from Sanctuary, it's incredibly easy to pull off. These joggers (also available in black and a great kaleidoscope print) drape perfectly, feel amazing on, and will pair with so many pieces in your spring wardrobe. Worn with this casual mesh tee and the softest leather jacket (seriously), the vibe is sleek and easy. Check out more of Sanctuary's spring collection below for statement pieces and gotta-have basics. Today I'm sharing a few shots of life lately captured through the lens of my iPhone. (If you're not already, please follow along with @mystylediaries on Instagram!) Hope everyone has a great weekend! xoxo Old Navy jeans; American Apparel shirt; Gap jacket; Gorjana clutch (similar); BCBGeneration heels; Ray-Ban sunglasses; Ninotchka Goods necklace; Rings: Gorjana and Claudia Lobao Yesterday was definitely a warm and sunny one, so it seemed only appropriate to pull out the white denim. (Never too soon, right?) Lightweight layers on top were key for keeping my cool. With spring fast approaching, it's time to start switching up my fashion and beauty routines, and the latter can sometimes be a little tricky. If you're like me and want to chat spring beauty (and enter to win some sweet goodies from P&G while doing it), join me and the rest of the New Voices of Beauty (Naty, Katie, and Amy) along with Lucky Magazine tonight at 7pm EST for a Twitter party! Simply head over to Twitter and search #SB14Beauty to join in! Hope to see everyone there! xoxo I've worn the same perfume every day now for years and had no plans of changing it, but when I received an email about Commodity Goods, I thought it sounded like a pretty cool concept. For $9, you can receive your own "fitting kit" complete with samples of all ten of their women's or men's frangrances to try on at home. The idea is to take your time, check each of them out (away from a department store counter), and figure out which scent or scents work for you. Once you choose what you like, you can order a trio of 10ml sprays or a 100ml bottle of your favorites. (They'll even credit back the $9 spent on the fitting kit.) The packaging is simple but so pretty, and the scents are pretty addictive. I love something light and floral for day, and Dew and Rain fit the bill perfectly. Today I switched things up and tried out Gold, and it is now my favorite for a night out or special occasion. It's warm and rich, perfect for a summer night. I'm thinking these will be my perfect trio, but I've still got a couple scents to try. As a blogger, I get a lot of emails about new brands and beauty launches, and this one is definitely a keeper. If you're feeling like you're in a fragrance rut or just want to try something new for spring, a Commodity Goods fitting kit is definitely worth checking out. xoxo Admittedly, today's post is a little summery, but with music festival season right around the corner, I just couldn't resist. While a silky slipdress might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of festival fashion, it plays so nicely into the look when paired with a broken-in denim jacket, lace-up sandals, and a floppy hat. Complete the look with a hands-free messenger bag, mirrored aviators, and stacks of jewelry. Then, from the festival fields to a mid-spring date night, switch it up with a slouchy boyfriend blazer and killer heels. An interesting mix of silver and rose gold jewelry finish off the feminine vibe perfectly. I'm loving this little slip dressed up or down. Which way would you prefer? xoxo 1. It was like a first real taste of summer around here, the perfect time for a floral mini-dress and booties. I found this one recently at H&M (on major sale) and could absolutely live in it. The fabric is so light and comfortable, and paired with these perforated suede booties and a favorite red handbag, it's the easiest little Sunday morning ensemble. Here's hoping that "summer" sticks around for a while! xoxo |
