Although I may whine and complain that I'm ready for a little fall weather (and all of the comfy cozy clothing options it entails), I must admit that a nice September beach day is pretty much perfect.  Crowd-less and peaceful, it's the ideal way to spend a Sunday after a long Saturday of tailgating.  I picked up this dress recently at a boutique, and it's definitely become a throw-on-and-go favorite of mine.  I like the fun print and love how the wind plays with the sheer bottom half of the skirt.  Also a new favorite is the Vanessa Mooney "Shark Tooth" ring - such a great piece.  (Grab one of your own along with tons of other accessories at Stefanibags.com, and take 20% site-wide with the code "Style20".)  Hope everyone's having a great week so far!

In college, there were lots of hard decisions to be made.  Decisions like the tough choice between buying dinner or that new dress that's been on my mind all week.  Let me give you the obvious answer here: clothing always wins.  (Unless of course it's a choice between clothing and shoes or jewelry because then, all bets are off.)  One of my favorite discoveries during this time (besides a $5 dinner from Subway) was just how many great deals could be found on Ebay.  Designer duds, vintage treasures or just a low price on this season's must-have boot, you really can score whatever your little heart desires, so I was thrilled when Ebay asked me to do a post with a few finds from their endless online catalog.  The look above is just the sort of ladylike-with-a-twist vibe that is so perfect for the transition into fall.  Temper a delicate, feminine blouse with leather leggings and contrasting pointed pumps for a look that can be worn from day to night seamlessly.  Finish with a polished handbag and a few stacked, statement gold accessories.  The overall feel is sleek and pulled-together, and the color palette reminds me of a peacock.  Fabulous.  Do you have a favorite piece in your closet that you found on Ebay?

For the second day of our roadtrip, we headed up through Big Sur and stopped at Nepenthe for lunch, a cocktail and some seriously spectacular views.  (If you ever find yourself around Big Sur, I highly recommend stopping here for a Shrimp BLT and a potent mug of "Super Cider".)  The altitude and constant fog made for a pretty chilly morning, so I went with a favorite pair of skinnies (Henry & Belle makes one of the most comfortable pairs I've tried) and an ultra-soft, shoulder-baring thermal by LA Made.  A few hours and several pitstops later, we finally made it up to San Francisco and had a great time in the city.  Hope everyone is having a great week!

One of my favorite fall staples is definitely a great pair of leather (or in this case croc-embossed faux leather) skinnies.  Worn snug and paired with loose layers (like this printed tank and long blazer combo) and pointed-toe heels, these skinnies can elongate legs and are a great alternative to your usual denim.  Finish with black leather accessories, a luxe ponyhair clutch and stacked gold rings for a polished look that is perfect for day or night.
