Pictures just really don't do this city justice Seattle selfies at The Gap, trying to decide if I needthese wedges. Really beautiful happy hour at the Edgewater Hotel (If you ever have the chance, highly recommend a stay here.) Post-manicure: short and nude, just like I like them This week I'm spending a couple of days in Seattle for a blogger panel with Nordstrom and Glam Media. I'll be in really good company for the panel (with Mara, Devon, and Sierra), but yesterday I was on my own to explore Downtown Seattle. The city is really beautiful, and I've decided that I must come back when I can stay for a few nights. Above are a few Instagram shots from yesterday, and there are more to come (so follow along!). Hope everyone is having a great week!

There's something about retro-inspired pieces that just work so well for summer. I love a good chunky platform sandal paired with easy-fitting shorts and a printed blouse. Add a briefcase-like clutch and a leather watch for a slight menswear feel, and finish with an eclectic mix of jewels. Hope everyone is having a great week! xoxo P.S. - I'm off to Seattle with Glam and Nordstrom today, so follow along on Instagram and Twitter for some fun snaps! Get the Look! 1. J. Well, summer is here, and there's no better time to get with it, girl. (Lucky for me, I have Old Navy to remind me.) To help get your booty in motion, Old Navy is having a sweet sale on all of their looks-great but feels-even-better activewear. The compression capris (on sale for $17!) fit like a cozy little glove, and I'm newly obsessed with this slub-knit hoodie. These are just the type of pieces that could almost turn me into one of those people who lives in her yoga gear. Almost. But then, it is Orange County, so I'm pretty sure that's totally allowed. Have you guys tried Old Navy's selection of active gear? xoxo P.S. - Need a little extra inspiration? Check out this video featuring Old Navy active gear! This post is sponsored by Old Navy. Photos thanks to Rafael Leyva Zara vest; Tank via No Rest for Bridget; Zara shorts; Urban Outfitters wedges; Gorjana necklace and ring; Amrita Singh bangles As predicted, these silk shorts from Zara have been in high rotation since summer temperatures arrived. With a lack of any real plans this weekend (and some much-needed lazy time), I went a little more casual and paired the short shorts with a printed tank and vest combination. An old favorite pair of wedges and stacked bangles rounded out the look. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
xoxo LAMade dress (c/o) (See below for 20% off); Gerard Darel heels; Vanessa Mooney necklace; JewelMint ring; Engraved bracelet (similar) One of my favorites in quite a while, I pulled this dress out of the box and immediately put it on. (Bonus: wrinkle-free.) I love the color combination of the blush and blue and the simple silhouette for summer. The slip underneath is ridiculously soft, and the lightweight chiffon overlay makes this one ideal for hot weather. This time I paired it with a long lariat necklace and matchy-matchy accessories, but next time I'm thinking I'll opt for suede booties and stacks of bangles. How would you wear it? Happy Friday, y'all!
xoxo P.S. - Use code "NIKKI20" at checkout for 20% off sitewide at LAMade! A crisp, scalloped cotton skirt can really work wonders for your wardrobe full of "nothing to wear" during the summer. For a casual take, throw on a comfy tee and sandals and call it a day, but if you're looking to pull yourself together, pair the warm weather staple with a tank and printed blazer. Heeled sandals in a bold hue and sleek jewelry keep the look classic. How would you wear this skirt? xoxo P.S. - Today is the last day to enter the Havaianas Giveaway! Good Luck! Get the Look! 1. Although I don't usually buy much navy, I couldn't pass up this adorable (and slightly random) bird print at a Las Vegas Forever 21. (Even more random than the bird print? Probably.) It's so easy paired with tan wedges and a basic belt. The bag is still a current favorite, and bare arms mean I can pile on the bangles without snagging sweater sleeves. Oh summer, it's been far too long.
xoxo P.S. - Only a couple days left to enter the Havaianas Giveaway! A lightweight, printed kimono is definitely one of my favorite throw-on-and-go pieces for warm weather, and paired with an equally breezy tank dress, this one is summertime perfection. Elevate the look with platform wedges and a bold red handbag, and finish with bohemian gold jewelry. (And yes, I'm featuring this necklace for the second time in about a week because I've become a little obsessed. I think my summer wardrobe needs it, no?) Hope everyone's week is off to a great start! xoxo P.S. - Don't forget to enter the Havaianas Giveaway for your chance to win a pair of sandals, just in time for summer! 1. Ottoman Hands Double Stone Ring $39 This weekend we spent an amazing couple of days camping up in Bishop, California. I had never been before, but the town itself was pretty cute, and the campgrounds and lakes just outside of town were seriously beautiful. We had so much fun spending time with good friends around a fire, hanging out by the lake (pretending to fish), and spending the night in a tent (alternating between freezing at night and sweating through the mornings). It's rough coming back to the real world, but I can think of no better way to ease into the work week than with comfy boyfriend jeans and an easy bohemian blouse. Flat sandals, a standout bag and fun silver accessories (seriously loving this necklace) are the perfect cherries on top. Hope everyone else had an amazing weekend! xoxo P.S. - Don't forget to enter the Havaianas Giveaway! Get the Look! 1. J Brand Aiden Cropped Boyfriend Jeans $218
