Forever 21 shorts (similar, also LOVE these); Tinley Road blouse via Piperlime (similar); Sam Edelman boots; Rovi Moss bag - on sale! (c/o); Ray-Ban sunglasses; Samantha Wills ring Switching gears fromyesterday's icy post, today's look is back in California and ready for spring. If there's one closet staple I can't get enough of, it's easy track shorts, and this faux leather version is definitely a new favorite. Whether worn alone with a printed blouse (like above) or layered over tights with a chunky sweater, they're just a fun alternative to jeans. Add a bold crossbody bag (loving this bright pink pop), fringe boots, and a hot pink lip to put a little spring in your step. Hope everyone is having a great week! xoxo Shop It: Faux Leather Shorts

When it comes to summer florals, there are a couple of different roads to take. There's the muted-hued subtle approach (seen on yesterday's maxi skirt) or the full-blown, in-your-face garden variety, like the flippy dress above. Pair this backless number with spot-on ruffled heels, chunky gold jewelry, and a woven leather clutch for a statement-making, cocktail-appropriate look that is perfect for any upcoming summer soirees. Hope everyone is having a great start to their summer! xoxo Get the Look! 1. Zara Printed Pleated Dress $60

The trip was definitely short but sweet, and it was really great discussing style blogs with some of the fabulous folks at Nordstrom and Glam Media. After the panel, we headed to Nordstrom for a little shopping (obviously) where I purchased my first bold red lipstick, well, ever, thanks to a little prodding from Sierra and the lovely Brie from Nordstrom's PR team. (You can check out the post-red-lip shot here. You like?) Overall it was an amazing first time in Seattle, and although I didn't want to leave, it's nice to be home just in time for the weekend. Happy Friday, everyone!
xoxo Blame my love of playing dress-up as a kid (which actually never stopped), but I'm seriously drawn to this flapper-esque, totally impractical for my life by the beach, white fringe mini dress. Create the perfectly-impractical (but oh-so-chic) Friday night look by pairing the fun fringe number with this exaggerated tassel necklace and bold, multi-print heels. Finish with a bright summer bag and more gold jewels. xoxo Get the Look! 1.Topshop Fringe Shift Dress $150

We celebrated a couple of birthdays with friends and got to attend the beautiful wedding of one of my favorite couples. On Saturday, we spent a relaxing afternoon wine tasting in Temecula (a definite must if you're ever in the area). The weather was amazing, the wine was delicious, and the company of good friends made for the perfect way to spend a Saturday. How was your Memorial Day weekend?
xoxo Oh, and P.S. - After mentioning my distraught over my lost watch in Friday's post, it was pretty much immediately found. Bonus points for the weekend. Riller & Fount dress (old, but love this version); Sole Society wedges; Forever 21 sunglasses; Rebecca Minkoff bag; Zara necklace; Vanessa Mooney rings; Boera Ring Well kids, it's Friday, and not just any old Friday. It's the Friday before a three-day weekend, and I couldn't be happier about it. Cue the comfy-as-pajamas t-shirt dress and far played-out Zara necklace. (Listen, after over four years together, I've misplaced my favorite gold watch, and I'm a little out of sorts about it. I've become attached with a certain embroidered collar, and I'm not taking it off.) Anyways, I'm pretty excited about some kick-ass plans this weekend, including a little wine-tasting and wedding-going, and I hope you're stoked about your own long weekend. How will you be spending the next three glorious days?
xoxo There's no better time than summer (or the verge of it at least) to play with bold colors, and I love the combination of these hot pink skirt-like shorts with a classic red bag. Keep the rest of the outfit neutral with a wear-with-everything ivory blouse and nude, barely-there heels. Finish with mixed flashes of silver and rose gold for a flirty, ladylike look that will take you from day to night in a flash. Hope everyone is having a fabulous week! xoxo P.S. - Now through Monday, May 27th, take an additional 40% off all sale items over atGorjana & Griffin. Plus, enjoy free ground shipping. Whether they're striped linen, silk paisley, or silver sequins, you really can't go wrong with a pair of statement shorts for summer. For an easy and chic warm weather look, pair roomy linen shorts with an ultra lightweight chambray shirt and add nude wedges. Finish with a crossbody bag and a few statement gems. What summer staples are currently on repeat in your wardrobe?
xoxo There's nothing more classic for summer than a nautical-inspired look in red, white and blue hues. Pair a lightweight, easy tank with denim cutoffs and standout red flats. Add a crisp white bag, preppy aviators and touches of gold for a chic and comfortable daytime feel. Hope everyone had a great weekend! xoxo Get the Look! 1. Mango Tie-Dye Effect Cotton Top $40

Blame it on my Louisiana roots, but jeans in the summer were never a friend of mine. So what do you do? A dressed-up pair of short shorts is a great alternative to wearing that same little dress again. I love this paisley pair that I picked up recently from Zara, and coupled with a lightweight, gauzy blouse, they're perfect for warm weather. During the day, flat sandals are the easy choice, but for night, dress the look up with a pair of statement heels. Finish with a few key gold pieces and a sleek handbag (like this fits-just-the-right-amount black and gold version from d'andrea handbags.) And what are you wearing this Friday night?
