I have senior portraits coming up this weekend, and I have no clue what to wear. The photographer suggested that I bring 3-4 changes of clothes. The location is a botanical gardens-type setting surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees changing leaves. Since it is now autumn, I was thinking of wearing more fall-inspired looks, but the weather will be sunny and in the mid 70s that day. I would like outfits that will photograph nicely and look great on me since a lot of people will be viewing these pictures. Thank you!

Your senior portraits should be all about you, so it's best to stick with simple pieces that help bring out your own natural beauty. Depending on your photographer, there's a good chance that many of your pictures will be from the waist or shoulders up, so focus on classic, flattering necklines in colors that complement your skin tone. Choose silhouettes that will make you comfortable whether you are sitting or standing, and you'll likely be happier when you get your proofs back. (If you aren't comfortable with your mid-section, stick with billowy fabrics and looser cuts.) Smoothing skinny jeans, oxford heels and simple, low-key jewelry (OK, except maybe for this gorgeous, intricate cocktail ring) will complete the look without competing with you or the background. For additional options, see the three looks below. I can't wait to see how the pictures come out!
